All entries are FREE.

 There is a £6.50 charge which covers the cost of your entry into this Great Event and also your Car Park Pass.

No Sale birds will be offered for sale unless they are entered on the official zfs show entry form

 


Postal Entries close. Saturday 2nd October.  

Telephone Entries close Sunday 3rd October at 20.00hrs.
All telephone entries will be charged 60p postage & handling for return of labels. Wrist Bands and Car Park Pass.

Cheques and postal orders made payable to THE ZEBRA FINCH SOCIETY. 


AT THE SHOW - OPENING TIMES

The sale or exchange of birds from cars, or anywhere outside of the confines of the designated area within the Show Ground is STRICTLY PROHIBITED BY LAW
Any persons disregarding this rule will be deemed as bringing the Zebra Finch Society into disrepute and may be banned from all further shows and possibly membership of the society.

No exhibitors will be allowed into the show hall until the Show Manager declares the show open. Show open to the public from 1pm - 3:30pm

Entries may be benched: 7:30am to 9:00am Sunday 11th October.
Judging to commence at 9:00am prompt. 


FOOD & BEVERAGES AT THE SHOW

There is on site a cafeteria and during the show there are outside vendors supplying teas, coffee, burgers and hot dogs. Within the Bird Show of the Year Main Hall there is also a licensed bar.

HOW TO GET THERE

Positioned in the heart of England, The Staffordshire Showground is easily accessible by road, rail or air.

By Road
The Showground is situated on the A518 Stafford to Uttoxeter road some 4 miles from Stafford. Drivers from either the North or South using the M6 motorway should exit at junction 14 and follow the signs for the County Showground.

By Rail
The Showground is just 4 miles from Stafford Railway Station. The station is situated on the West Coast Main Line offering a direct service to London Euston with a journey time of approximately one and three quarter hours. It also offers direct services to Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Manchester, Liverpool and Scotland. There is a bus link from the station to the Showground as well as a taxi rank.

By Air
Airports – Birmingham International Airport is about 45 minutes from the Showground and both Manchester and East Midlands airports can be reached in little more than an hour.

By Bus:
The Showground is served by route X1 Stafford to Hanley. The X1 bus departs from Stafford Railway Station and Hanley Bus Station with intermediate stops at Stoke Railway Station, Trentham Gardens and Stone.
